Let it Snow

Let it Snow

Mother Nature, that stubborn old lady
She does what she does when she does it
With no signs up in the sky
To tell her to do something other

She does what she does when she does it
She heeds no warning or answers no wishes
She moves about like a restless nomad
She snows, she rains, she blows, she smiles

When the feeling is right
When the cold is on nigh
When the clouds are stuffed up
Now it’s time,–– so - - - - - -,

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
All we can do is watch her go
She does what she does when she does it
