Music, my Love

Music, my Love

Today, a strange language whispered to the ear of my heart.  It left me bewildered as it played upon my feelings.  Eternal wisdom spoke to me with a deep sigh as if the sunset took me with it and invited me into its chambers.  From there, beauty surrounded me with its golden wings, and I was imprisoned by its magnetic charm.  Music did all this to me.  It whisked me into infinite spaces where God dwells and where my soul understood this exotic language of his.

Oh sweet divine music:  fragrance of sound, weaver of dreams, voice of beauty, words of heaven, mother of tears, fruit of joy and sorrow, unity of faith, thou hast graced my heart with thy soothing spirit.
