Passion Streaming
Rivers of black and red and white,
decisive motion straight ahead,
tributaries with iron banks,
with sentries posted at the outer walls,
passion flowing with a mind of stone,
from metal hearts and sweet violets,
insurgent beasts and divine mountain tops,
with battle axes and anointed scepters
out of the darkness and into the darkness
out of the light and into the light,
spume of the beast and tears of the saints,.
foaming waters and glassy rivulets,
streaming out of exploding impulses,
adrenaline leading the charge,
the good and the bad unwavering,
the arrival of the passion of the beast,
the bad streaming into the bad,
the storming at the gates of justice,
the rivers of black and red
in their determined flowing,
the arrival at the gates of the righteous,
of passion anointed by the saints
clothed in white and gold,
the upholding of love’s dedication,
the exaltation between lovers,
the continuity of love’s flame,
the clarity of thought,
the emancipation of inhibitions,
the execution of the musician’s fingers,
the mental image of the painter,
the flowing of the words of the poet,
passion streaming from
the good to the good
through channels of untainted waters.
