Restless Canons

Children of America, put on your boxing gloves. Knock out your opponent. Exert your authority over him. You have the domineering look in your eyes as you enter the ring. Your deity above you is looking down as you perform your deeds. You have the power to please him.
You have much to contribute to the American way of life. Your deity chose you to use your power in an aggressive way. You are his instrument to carry on what he wants you to do.
You have the power to choose your own deity. He who chooses God will always lead a productive life. He will be a reliable cog in the construction of a civil society. Instead of trying to tear it down, you will always have in mind to rebuild all the weak links that threaten to weaken it. You are a valuable asset. You still have the devil inside, but you cannot let him gain his authority over you.
You are a boxer who uses his aggressive power in a contestable manner, a contributor to the sport of boxing. You love your opponent, but for those ten rounds in the ring, you want to hurt him but not kill him. You have the power within you to control your aggression, to use it only in your profession.
You trained hard and dedicated yourself to the art and sport of boxing. He who toils to better himself will be rewarded after he accomplishes what he sets out to do. He has won the favor in God’s eyes. He became a valuable asset to the American way of life. Hard work will never be frowned upon by the lovers of labor.
Those who choose to exert their power under the devil’s authority, the lazy way, will die from it. If they need a weapon to prove their superiority, they use it as a crutch. They are the restless canons who can’t wait to exercise their power given to them. They don’t want to work hard to earn that power, instead find another way to use it. Boxers aren’t lazy. They are hard workers.
The lazy ones still have to stand out above the crowd by any means even if they have to use their weapons to do it. They can’t interact with society and rely on humor, wit, and camaraderie to win their favor. If they can’t win their approval, they have to force them to take notice of their superiority. They have to be fearful. They have to make themselves noticeable and remain that way.
They chose the wrong deity and must pay the consequences for their wrong decision. God gave some people the gift of physicality to become a boxer and the power to exercise it for the good of the sport, the civil way to use their aggression.
The devil laughed at the lazy one after he died from his own decision. Because the devil is so evil, he relishes over the way he had to prove his manliness and superiority.
He is always looking around to find another sucker, a restless canon, to do his dirty work and make him laugh even harder. And guess what; God still loves him even though he lived and died under the influence of his chosen deity.
