Sky Dragons

When the lazy sky is colored in blue,
And the sun chases ‘way the morning dew,
Not a cloud can be seen nor a stirring be felt,
Until the dragons appear where peace once dwelt.

Broken away from their cages they run wild,
With their morbid hearts and twisted faces riled,
Black churning clouds touch the hills with delight,
As hell breaks loose where angels and devils fight.

Passion runs free as lightening rules the sky,
With dragons snorting fire and demons drifting by,
Until enough is enough for Mother Earth to behold,
And rainbows are fashioned from beauty’s mould.
Sky dragons drift by and wave their friendly hands,
And peace is restored as the voice of nature demands.
