The Honeymoon
Hidden secrets come into view
Life revitalized and begins anew
Pleasure waits through rose colored glasses
Life is lustrous star-like flashes
Primal thoughts keep fires burning
Dreams of yesterday keep on churning
After the honeymoon life goes on
Mutual desires a contented song
Seasons change since love was born
Pleasure comes in a different form
Love endures from a peaceful smile
Humility flourishes all the while
Life smiles when love’s on course
Aversion foiled by a persistent force
Hand in hand life stays endeared
Fire’s not as bright but love’s revered
