I Wave Goodbye To The Past

Cast away your spotless shadow
cast away your broken woe,
to where the broken-hearted lie
as sun shines in the sky,

Cast them away,
To remember is to disappear:
Unseen in feelings, sway,
in so much fear,
I wish that not for me,
I wish to be free,
so cast away your sparkling eyes,
to lands where Inconvenience lies
You are looking at the skies,
watching the leaves go by

As you go,
high head held low,
wetted eyes brimming,
with breath very slow,
I wave goodbye to the birth of our union,
Cast away the future,
Cast away the past,
remaining present in all things,
lest we make the present
a depressing past...
