Majestical Journey (Towards The Fading Sun)

Majestical journey,
About to be begun,
And I in my cap,
Facing the yellow sun,
Smile upon my tired face,
Men working and loading,
Men of every race,
An adventure,
Out to sea,
What better place,
For a young traveler of the mind,
To be?

So we cast up the sails,
And steer towards the horizon line,
We ready up the anchor,
The Captain says," FINE!,
Boys lets make this one for ALL TIME!"

We sail and we sing,
We wail and we wing,
We flail and we swing,
We play our part as all actors must do,
To keep the ship in perfect melody,
Like all tough sailors do,
When they are far away at sea,

After days, months perhaps,
We reach the ice where the stern begins to crack,
Water pours in, the ship is a-slinkin’ back,
All us sailors see is the snowy frozen land,
We all knew we would end up to see,
All us sailors see is the frozen graves,
That will be for us, the things that should never be,

The Captain says," We have discovered what needed to be found,
The edge of the earth, the point where all is frozen ground,
Will you follow me?
Will you follow me to where not much is known?
Will you follow me,
Even if we freeze straight down to our ungodly bones?"

Silence...
Then a earth screeching “YES!”
All but from me,
Who fixes his cap,
And smiles at the sun,
The group carries on,
And I stay with the ship,
I watch as they walk,
No talk,
And disappear into the white,
I feel the ship sinking,
Not knowing what is wrong or right,

But as a young man,
Who must embrace death,
Far before his time,
I find solace in the yellow sinking sun,
That must set upon everyone,
The soldier with hand on a gun,
Mother with her hand held by her son,
A man on polar ice with a fading smile,
And a setting sun,

Who knows about Man?
Who knows about the unknown?
Who knows about emotion?
Who knows about death?
All I can say as a young man, with a young final breath,
Is nothing but a sigh,
Then all is laid to rest...

Especially for this one, please leave comments. I want to make it better, and if all find it to be proper and no further detail needed, let me know. This one is special to me. Thank you.
