Beauty That Is You

You remind me of an angel
lost on earth in golden glow
the grace and complex beauty
of sunset over desert mountain’s plateau
A dream, just you and I
meeting in between atoms and space
fusing through touch, electricity
freezing every moment of your smiling face
Your voice, a roaring echo
through a timeless passage of fate
A crystal songbird of classical love
Flying through the sky, making stars shake
But what of my hopeless dreams?
Will you ever see me?
Of me, will you ever contemplate?
I sometimes think to dream but never wake
is an easier fate
but to love
tis’ better, to think of love for you when I wake
To live in pain, live in yearning
To open my eyes, cry at what I’m missing
To chase, run
To have you at my desire’s helm
To chance never having you
Desperation blossoms Chance’s realm
Yet, you are the Omega and Alpha
The ultimate in all that you do
This is a meager message
from poet lost in angelic blue
You are my reason for crying
the beauty that is you
