The Goddess Of All Our Lives

To the love across the stars.
From where the Western Wind’s blow,
From where the light transcends,
Across diamond desert’s flow,

She stands at the base of the sea,
By the silver moonlight’s glow,
Tapping lightly through night’s end,
Till the sunlight smiling must show,

She walks upon the white walkway,
That descends ages ago,
Covered in garments of stars,
She walks upon clouds of snow,

She gazes to meet the setting day,
She smiles to watch it go,
She dances through sleeping streets,
To the faintest beat on tiptoe,

Rise to her before she leaves,
Fall to her before she arrives,
And grant her the golden crown,
For the Goddess of all our lives...
