The Peace You Give To Me

In a room full of mirrors,
Which one is real?
Thunder pounds in the distance,
Oh that I can feel,
The brazen weight of the future,
And the hum of the past,
So many roads ahead of me,
How long will I last?

In the pavement are faces,
Some I’ve never seen,
They all seem to be laughing,
What can that mean?
The continuous ringing message,
Of all I had to flee,
Never does it leave you,
It’s all a part of me,

I stand on the precipice,
Fiery oceans down below,
The sun is coming soon,
So my love, I must go,
Only the silent sky above,
And the silhouette of the crashing sea,
I’ll give a piece to you,
For the peace you give to me...
