The Heart's Chambers

Suicide fights me for not giving it what it wants
But murder just kills one.
An adamantium heart is my magnetic sensei; ; it flaunts
Plausible intake from seeded jargon.

Poets don’t walk with crocodile tears, our souls are that obtuse
Living just to breathe, conscious only of fears.
Human minds implode to pure truth, shallow thy grave of the confused
On wings of albatrosses dreams play songs in my ear.

When the stars align I see your face
A proclivity of beauty I need to find you .
On a river of lilies no affluent disgrace
Pigments of ambrosia glisten on your lips like the morning dew.

A man can be a beast, but only kings can kill lions
A fool I’ve become, nigh a lesson learned from sober mind.
Monolithic towers despair when a heart can abide in
A pedantic fantasy that can alleviate the inner twined.
