The Smile that was Sewn on Backwards
And they screamed my name in vain

What has she become?
What happened to our little bundle of fun,
Why has her smile faded
And why has her heart cracked into much more than two,
We can’t just put the blame on you
But what had you made her become?
Why have you taken away her sun?
And that amazing smile of hers;
That was not yours to take!
You were her biggest mistake!
Now she sits at home,
Feeling all alone inside
Waiting for nothing else, but to die
She used to have dreams
And amazing dreams they were
But now they are soiled, and in the dirt.
Now she has nightmares about everything!
She is the caged bird that can never sing!
She is the caged bird just preached there listening
Oh, such a horrible thing a voice is to waste!
Maybe one day, her pain will go away
I surely hope that it isn’t here to stay
I don’t ever want her smile, taken away again;
All I can do now,
Is hope and pray;
That one day, she will be okay.
