I had to start, the pieces was unknowingly shattered
The first piece was the deepest and hardest because I knew your blood was the start
It took a while, stumbling but my steps was found
Tears washed away

Unwritten chapters still to be filled by pen and paper and rhymes still to follow

Your blood was turned to water
Your flesh is no longer my escape to darkness

I pleaded for this day and I found my reason because your reason has showed me the meaning of poetry

The sound has faded with angel wings but I still carry your name on a crafted plate
Our memories will still remain but with a smile to gain

I pleaded for this day and found my reason to stay.
