My Confession

Tshegofatso, my kryptonite,
When the Lord created you,
He had all the time
He needed to mould the majestic creature
That has come to be known as Tshegofatso

You fill each room with admiration,
People must pay just to look at you,
My admiration for you cannot be denied,
From your flawless body to your beautiful smile,
You are the epitome of beauty

I've tried to avoid you
So that my feelings for you may subside,
But I can't anymore,
I'll keep trying to impress you
So you will see the wonderful man that I am

I admire everything about you,
But mostly, how you caught my attention,
My goal is to find out what makes you tick,
Look cool around you
And put a smile to that beautiful face

A poem I wrote for a friend of mine who needed to tell a certain girl (Tshegofatso) how he felt. This poem is just the first step
