Inner Peace

It’s time to neutralise the rage, serenity is not the enemy.
Find your own ability to innervate tranquillity.
Fall back into an overwhelming ocean of calm,
And drift away unto a place where you can come to no harm.

Picture this:

A sunset walk along a golden beach,
Feel the soft warm sand pressing under your feet.
The only sound for miles around are gentle waves still cooling down,
After playing in the sun since when the day had just begun.

And now the crimson sun sets in the distance, softening it’s glow,
Moonlight trickles through the clouds onto the sea below.
The clouds depart, blown apart by the silver-white nocturnal heart,
And then comes glitter in silent verse as the stars make love to the universe.

You lay on your back watching silver and black paint a picture so enchanting you can’t react,
And the harder you glance, the more stars change their stance, silhouettes holding sparklers performing a dance.

Now this place is not fiction, it exists in your mind.
Only you are allowed there, any place, any time.
Now you can neutralise the rage, serenity is not the enemy.
Find your own ability to innervate tranquillity.
