Sporadic Imagination
My inner thoughts swirl in a volcanic whirlwind,
A spiralling vortex of picture and sound,
An angel who had teeth as white as a pearl grinned,
While simultaneously a person was drowned.
A leprechaun riding a badger caught fire,
While three little pigs stabbed a wolf to it’s death,
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart retired,
And spent his last days injecting crystal meth.
A bee drove a bus off a bridge in Barbados,
A bus driver pollinated a small child,
Elephants were flying kites in tornadoes,
Hitler and Churchill became reconciled.
I died and then came back as Frankenstein’s monster,
I put on a suit and went out on the pull,
A politician made sweet love to a lobster,
And William Shakespeare was kicked out of school.
