I will never know

I Will Never Know
All of this time has been wasted
Left staring at this hole in me
The rabbit has ran out of reach
Will i ever find my way home
With regret trailing behind me
Stuck in this labyrinth of life
The walls caving down on my past
To the point I can hardly breathe
If i don’t reach out, i will never know
Is there more to this, all that haunts me
So i lay it all out, mind, body, soul
Before i get planted, back in the ground
As a part of me says, more will be found
Staring at three lights ahead, For
One, shining flickered and fickle
One, shining weak and perilous
One, shining bright and eternal
If i don’t reach out, i will never know
Is there more to this, all that haunts me
So i lay it all out, mind body soul
Before i get planted, back in the ground
As a part of me says, more will be found
Eternal beams are reaching out
With arms so motherly and warm
Swarming me in a long embrace
Guiding me along to safety
Back to a time where i once lived
Pulling my poor heart to and fro
i’m standing in this blackness
How could i let it become empty
If i don’t reach out, i will never know
Is there more to this, all that haunts me
So i lay it all out, mind body soul
Before i get planted, back in the ground
As a part of me says, more will be found
Yet i keep to reaching out, cause...
one, is all that i ever had
two, is all that i am for now
three, is all but empty__
If i don’t reach out, i will never know
Is there more to this, all that haunts me
So i lay it all out, mind body soul
Before i get planted, back in the ground
As a part of me says, more will be found
Yet succumbed to the devils calls
Destroying the days of my youth
Forming the growing hole in me
Now pouring from my wounds anew
Hoping for more on the other side
Reaching out willing to start over
For if it is all emptiness
Then just what is this life worth
If i don’t reach out, i will never know
Is there more to this, all that haunts me
So i lay it all out, mind body soul
Before i get planted, back in the ground
As a part of me says, more will be found
