Antipode

Every flower needs food,
And barren soil needs a lovely view;
During ice, and heat.
The relation’s bittersweet;
The grass may one day fade away,
Leaving drought and barren clay
But for now; enjoy the view.

Passion burns through cold eyes;
It sees through ev’ry blatant disguise.
The creeping dark, it’s so bright;
Only calm puts up a fight.
And maybe the ink will fade away,
Pushing roots into the grave.
But for now, enjoy the view.
