When the Flame is Steeped in Silence

Move along unhappy one,
Because I’ve turned a blind eye;
No more are you to sit and stare,
To let the days pass you by.

Where’s this pain, unfettered fury
Taking you to?
When the flame is steeped in silence,
What good can it do?

Wish them well, and yourself;
Bring a foot to bare.
Walk a path that so many
Fall from, if you dare.

What alternative is there to find?
At the end it’s just a day;
Happiness will find the time
In it’s own mysterious way.
