We do our best, that much is true
For more than that we cannot do
Mistakes we make, from them we learn
Through our amends, respect we earn
In our childrens hearts we earned our place
A bond that transcends time and space
The reward for the gifts that we have given
A love that endures both earth and heaven
So from one mother to another
A message from me, my sister and brother
At times you’re too hard on yourself
For your childrens love it is your wealth
