The eye
A window to the soul
A portal from whence we peer out
Outside of ourselves
But you have to wonder
If you stared long enough
Could you see past someone else’s window?
Could you see through that dark portal?
What would be on the other side?
Could you see
Her soul?
And if she stared back at you
Could she see
Your soul?
But the real question is
Would she let you see her soul?
Would you let her see yours?
My goal:
Find someone who’ll let me see her soul.
