Soul Wrecker

I’m a soul wrecker
I’m destroying myself
And I’m so blinded
By the things in front of me
 
Perhaps soul wrecker
Is an incorrect statement
But destroyer of my heart
Is a more accurate statement
 
For I know that my soul
Is saved by the Grace of God
But my heart, my decisions…
I’ve been giving in to the lies
 
I am not the soul wrecker
But I am an accomplice
Living out the lies
That Lucifer has fed me
 
I’m seeking the wrong things
But anything that I seek
That isn’t the Lord
Is the wrong thing
 
Therefore, Lord, I urge you
Please allow me to see
Past the things
In front of me
 
For my one true wish
My one true desire
Is to be a light
Of your truth burning fire
