Conflicting Emotions

I don’t know how to feel
Am I supposed to pretend I’m okay?
Or should I leave and start over?
Love one and like another
Being hurt is never fun
And those things leave scars
Little by little
Until maybe that person can’t patch you up anymore
No matter how hard you try
You desperately try to make them okay again
But things are different this time
Things will always be different...

I don't really know if this would be considered poetry...but I wanted to post it here anyway.
Haven't really written anything in a while but lately I've been going through some things and this is a glimpse of my mind.
