My name is Tawana Beecham, I am an aspiring local poet and lyricist whose original works reflect my thoughts and feelings about many facets of my life, my experiences, and the world around me. I have self-published books of my prose and poetry. I have also written the lyrics to, and collaborated on the production of several original songs and musical productions. I have 3 children 14,16 & 21 year old junior college student who attends UMKC nursing school. I am a former member of the Missouri Steppers , founder and Director Marcus D Thomas. I am determined to be somebody and accomplish all my goals.
