I Think I know you!
You use to come and then you would leave.
Did I dismiss you, and leave you cold,
Or would you just simply come and go.
I heard your name once a week,
On that special day I hardly knew you.
I met you one night,
Out of nowhere you appeared!
from the fire you shot straight into my heart,
In the next moment it was all so clear.
Buckets later your presence still remains dear.
Close to my heart exposing my soul,
I got it! You always wanna see if my emotions will overflow.
Well they always will, you taught me how to do that.
When you sing to me I shed a tear,
When you read to me I shed two tears,
And when you meet me and pick me up at the foot of worship I shed buckets and buckets of tears.
When I first met you I knew you were the one
Because that night while you sang to me, read to me and met me at your feet of worship you welcomed me with open arms and reassured me that you will never leave,
Because you sent your son to tell me how much my family loves me.
Thank God for the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.
When Jesus’ arms were spread he told us all that he loves us this much!
