If we could just take a break
from what we call our “social life”,
sit in a corner, huddled and curled,
think about life and all it brings,
listen to the sweet melodies that life sings.
“Life aint nothing if it aint social”
thats what you say!
whether our lives are social or not
we’re living it anyway!
If we could just take a break from"ourselves",
i mean, "BE THE REAL YOU! for once at least.
no false hair, no makeup, just natural.
put away all your gadgets, go outside,
sit on your doorstep, view nature and marvel at God’s
creation, sing a song to yourself, BE THE REAL YOU!
If we could just take a break from the war,
try this things called 'PEACE’.
give something to someone,
say a kind word or two.
who am speaking to? YOU!
If we could just take a break from saying 'I CANT’
and try saying 'I CAN IF I WANT TO’.
then maybe we would get more things done.
