Tell me moon in all your glory,
Is heaven real or just a story?
I’ve been told since I was a little girl,
Good people go to heaven bad people go to hell,
What if someone I love did a bad thing,
Will they not see heaven where the angels sing?
I sat in silence as the moon made of stone replied,
“This afterlife your looking to seek, is it for your reassurance that the end won’t be as bleak? is it fear that science is that black and white when your dead that’s the end and no spirit will take flight?. What ever your thoughts please know your not alone embrace your time on this earth, live it love it and have some fun”
Wise words from a light that shines in the night although this I already knew,
Keeping secrets of an afterlife close to your chest so I still still don’t know if its true,
So I will carry on doing good things just encase there’s an afterlife in the skies that are blue.
