The Devil Danced (poem/song) by Theo Ray

Put my dark shades on
—blocking out the sun.
The Devil danced ...
and showed me his tungue,
the bells were so still...
that so long ago rung...
the Angels wept,
when so long ago
sung.

When the whip was cracked...
by the Roman gaurd...
the Devil danced...
in the shadow of his heart,
the King was dead,
but rose from the dark...
And at The place of The skull...
came a crown of stars,
the scribes assembled...
in the courtyard,
the sky was so red...
red with scarrs.
