Trophy

Coveted, you keep me vaulted in your mind,
Frantic, I search your frigid eyes to find
Deliverance for a world hailed of broken lies,
I am paralyzed by a life I cannot recognize.
Secreted, are your words scarred deep within my heart,
Spoken by your promised tongue from the very start.
I only desire something beautiful to stay,
Forever alive and never to stray.
Cushion my stricken fall from grace,
On your journey to yet another place.
Forget me not, bring mercy to my sins,
For love is a battle and nobody wins.
