the tide, it beckons for slumber.

sings out in the opposite number.
Billowing sails, shaped by Cat o’ Nine Tails.
Mermaids are gathering stardust.
Islands of mist and a cranberry twist
the blister, a bright bubble of pie crust.
In a dreamer’s eyes, where mystery lies
shades of grey are distant.
Candy canes in desert rains
wonders remain insistent.
On the winds from the West, the birth of a quest
to swim in translucent glow.
