A good kind of day

I woke up this morning
With my hair knotted  in every way
But it did not bother me not one bit
Since today’s a good kind of day
I reached for the bedroom door
And the wind slammed it on my nose
I slipped and fell down the steps
Stubbing all my toes
Laying face first on the floor
The sun greeted me with a ray
I knew right then and there
Today was a good kind of day
My tooth brush lept from my hand
Landing in the toilet bowl
And as I bent to retrieve it
My pants opened a new hole
When I went to turn on the sink
The water shot in every way
As I stood there soaking wet I knew
Today was a good kind of day
I knew it was a good day when I woke up
Just starring at the ceiling
Glad I get to live another day
It’s how we all should be feelin
