Vermillion Skies

“The sky is an infinite movie to me. I never get tired of looking at what’s happening up there.”
– K. D. Lang

Vermillion skies turned into black velvet

Dotted with a billion glittering stars

Emerging moon joined by Venus and Mars

Imminent nightfall, breath-taking sunset

Distant hills glowed in deepest violet

Treetops swayed like vertical isobars

Blown by solar winds show’rs of shooting stars

Granting wishes, there’s no excuse to fret

The night aswirl with wonders and magic

It can enchant with its untold treasures

Adventures frequently beyond logic

Stirring thrilling and dream-worthy pleasures!

Vermillion skies emotions nostalgic

Skies velvet, we soar free without tethers!
