In order to be truly loved you must first love yourself
Hushed lullabies
Whispered into innocent ears
To hush their feeble cries
How easy it is to comfort them when they’re young
Promises of love filling her ears
While he hides the truth in his eyes
Deflowered and left
Her anguished cries can be heard
But who is there to comfort her
A hushed lullaby will not suffice
A heart broken girl tricked into a woman
She searches for comfort
In the arms of others
Promised sweet false lies of love
Abandoned over and over
Then she heard a whisper
“Look within thyself for the love you seek”
She looked into her heart
And she found what she was looking for
A love that was pure
A love for herself
She was complete

I see this happen over and over with young girls don't look for love in the arms of others until you have found love of yourself within you
