You claim to know and understand true beauty

You know about vanity
You know about the appearance of the shell
No matter how “beautiful” you look on the outside
It can not stop your rotten inside from seeping out
Beauty is from the soul
From the spark of kindness in one’s eyes
Beauty is the gentle touch and caress from a loving soul
You are just a pretty gem
Hard to the touch
Reflecting light and not creating your own
True beauty is within
Until you understand this
You will forever be ignorant to beauty
