From A Woman

To all mothers out there I salute

From A woman

I come from a place of silence
a waterful place of peace and no violence,
I come from warmth procted in a fleshy dome
a place of no lies I was cared for, thus that was my home,
There were no lies or betrayals for there were no mouths
no chaos or turmoiled agendas as there were no doubts,
I was all alone she gave me oxygen hence I was never gasping
she always finished my race when my tiny soul was running,
I could feel her hands touching me on her belly
dear mother in you life was easy as you always made me early,
Breath my son breath, mother you made me live
made me strong so I can one day with love give,
I come from a place with no jails, a place with no lawers
therefore where I come from there were no deliquents.
It was church all the time, I could hear her utter amen after her prays.
I come from a place of  a sealed womb, keeping me alive
conceived for nine months kicking yet never talking,
I salute my mother for her vigour as she carried me for this day,
                                           I am proud to say
I come from a life to life, I come from a woman
