Have you ever played a cameo,
Or held your breath for years?
Carried on streets, words, and song;
A thousand miles never here
With you, but waiting to be living,
Soaked in silence and in feare.
Though tyed, at least I’m trying,
Drawne now to the life of the mind,
To dump my pain on your doorstep;
It’s not in me to finde
Those lost things we wanted,
Drugged, lovelorn strata, I climbed
Out alone, that safety from hurt,
With no-one else to change me,
Niceness now lessons in weakness;
Sadness encoded in breife memories,
A blessing to the breathless
Choking dream: let go, under the sea.
