TIME FORGOT

In a moment thoughts are spoken
With flippant retrospection,
In a moment enthused, impressed, considered,
Now forever in abandon.

Spoken, lived, even felt: in these moments
Tens, hundreds, millions were lost,
Searching, and moving careless,
Left me with insignificants time forgot.

Thru her impassive, determined slide
Nothing survives, to the ends of time,
Worth spent; tossed like a stone,
It didn’t matter, nor could have cared,
So obvious now, I remember alone.
