Devastation of a Suicidal Girl
She was just a young girl.
And the world was filled with dreams.
Momma told her “baby there’s nothing in this world you can’t achieve”.
And she loved hearing those words.
Because her goals always seemed to meet her.
Til one day, daddy got drunk and decided to beat her.
And she cried to the skies.
Hoping God would relieve her.
Of her un-forsaken pains, caused by daddies 40 ounce liter.
Now she gets a bit older.
And those scars grow with her.
And she carries them as thoughts.
That any man could hit her.
Daddy died from over douse.
So he never saw her grow up.
But see she cries all through the night.
Trying to keep down the throw up.
But she learned to hold a smile.
Now her happiness is gained and well deserved.
So every bad memory she had of dad.
Turned into emotionless words.
But she grew tired of false feelings.
That was when momma died, cause cancer struck her.
And she just turned 16.
And she just became a cutter.
She popped pills because of sadness.
And slit wrists out of madness.
Scared that she is all alone.
Questioning family as if she never had it.
And one day she was raped.
Of her virginity and pride.
She became a victim of not only depression.
But now of suicide.
Moment of silence, for our lost victims.
