Something Seeps Through My Walls

I shall dance
Beyond your halls
Betwixt my walls
Entranced
Enthralled
Amniotic semiotics
Reveal nothing
It was all a dream
I feel nothing
This was make-believe
Vacuous I be
Nothing lives
Within me
Let me dance
& Revel in
This loathsome
Trance
Unbeknownst to
This distance
I remain
Ever beneath
All that lies
Behind closed
Eyes
Enmity
Drips in me
Divinity lies
In he
Tho’ we chant
Another’s name
Dark claws
Clutch my name
For all it wants
Is our suffering
Again & again
There is
No one left
To call this refrain
There is
No one left
To redeem
Nor remain
I am
Seldom seen
So rip the tide
From the sky
Seep between
Where they
All hide
I have seen
Such darkness
Gleaned only
From you
In the shadows
We refuse
That clutch onto
The vessels
We abuse
Down these
Passages
I’ll remain
Scrawling notes
In my grave
I have seen
Such withered
Breeds
Clawing at my feet
I don’t recall
Where the fiction
Ends &
My walls begin
May you redeem
That fatal truth
For I have seen
A dark so
Cherished
Only I could
Choose
Only I could
Refute
Only I
Shall use
May our lanterns
Be lit today
Let us not
Deny the rain
A sprinkling of
Black petals
All stemming into
Endless passages
Drift now along
An ancient breeze
So unsettled
I am reeling
So rattled for
Those who
Came to sigh
A breath
Into that night
That never was
Now strive
To bite
The last
Vapor trails
Of darkness
Draped across
My chest
Like ribbons
So bereft
I now
Lay in slivers
Such hallways
Cannot be
I am devoid
Giving
All warmth
To that void
This must be
A wretched dream
Email sent
She comes at me
Gun shots ring
Like bells through
Still air
Into that hallway
I have flown
With only a
Notebook &
A pen in tow
Filled with a
Simple woe
Should this
Impromptu verse
Make it out
Of these barren
Halls
Please
Stay clear of
That creeping dark
Do not watch
Nor linger as
Your walls
Begin to yawn
Gaping hallways &
Endless corridors
When it has taken all
There shall be
No more for
What you were shall
Slither inside the walls
Where there are
No doors
& No hope
Crawls anymore
