We Are The Same Woman

We Are the Same Woman

There’s an ocean between you and I
An ocean of tears?
Both are made of salty water
And flow under the same sky.
The distance...
Immense.
You look to the horizon
And you see a tight line
And oranges and yellows
Sea... Clouds.
I see two worlds converging
In the precise moment
When the day hast lost its meaning
And the night turns into life.

You see the future.
I count the stars.
You cover you ears to sleep tight.
I sing the cicadas tune
Or by the chirping melodies
Of a stranded owl.
We are so different...
You dress appropriately.
I undress when the time comes.
You wait for life to dictate.
I live my life.
You wait to be kissed.
I kiss with passion and bite.
You go to the river
And watch the stream
Carry away things
You’ll never touch.
I let the river seduce me...
I dive in the waters of perdition
And seduction
And let the river possess me.
You ask for permission.
I run out the walls of entrapment
And annihilation of the soul.
You are beautiful.
I am free.
We are the same woman
But I won’t let you rule me.
You are reason.
I am love.
