how to explain these feelings

It’s in the way it creeps

suffocating the response

numbing the brain

making thoughts hurt

and enhancing the pain

As if loneliness could be explained

surrounded by people

yet empty and partially sane

seeping in and pulling under

life taken by the thunder

There are all the feelings

one could share

no matter the voice

they take over without choice

and it’s as if no one is there

despite the claims

not a single one may actually care

Time cuts deep The minutes crumble by Hours slipping past The sun breaks the sky The world tremors

As deep as the ocean higher than the clouds a break on the horizon the plants on the ground beautiful and delicate

Dangling on the edge with a head held high I stretch and break crumble then fall Times almost up

It’s tearing through The smiling mask A happy life I try so hard Yet I am still lonely at night

If everything were simple I could just be no need for remarks words renounced of sympathy If everyone wasn’t a stranger

Through the darkness trembles the sky the stars dance to the winds sighs If you knew anything
