I know u think I didn’t hear,
But let me make it plainly clear,
Although u think me cute and small,
I am afraid I know it all.
I am six you know!
I hear the screams, I hear the shouts,
I know what it’s all about.
Money! There is never enough,
Maybe that’s why Mum says tough?

She seems to like that word a lot,
I just want the noise to stop,
Now it’s crying... Oh that’s worse,
All over what’s in her purse.

Aha! Eureka! I’ve got it!
This is better than a rocket,
I really am a clever boy,
I don’t need another toy.
I am six you know!
In I go... I stop... Ok here goes nothing,
Hot in my hand, there is something,
It’s gold it’s round it’s my two pounds,
The fairy left it while I slept sound.
