Election Day
The election is near we are going to have to vote,
But before you do please read this note.
Its very political its up for scrutiny and debate,
The time is right for the politicians to be irate.
More of promises made about education,
Causes people like us a lot of frustration.
Then another facts about the N.H.S,
More doctors are needed and nurses getting stressed,
All the politicians can say the NHS is in a mess.
Welfare cuts are cutting deeper this time,
While food bank queues growing longer longer lines.
The poorer get poorer and working class too,
Some of us are feeling them May election blues.
The economy is growing the conservative government have said,
And the rich are getting richer and the poor aren’t getting fed.
Immigrants travelling to Britain to try to get the jobs,
The country is running out of houses its going to be our loss.
The government invented very unpopular bedroom tax,
Now the other political parties are going to give it the axe.
Another country election is arriving closer,we hear about it constantly all the time,
They have put the political advertising boards up in streets and houses close to mine.
We are receiving all the leaflets and party political broadcasts every day,
I cannot wait for it to end on the day of election the 5th of May.
