This garden is my life

To my love

This garden is my life
The yellow Roses growing at the edge are my eyes
That witness the wonders of this world
grow undoubtedly tall, overseeing all that is good and great
protecting all that is small and brave

The two olive tree at the corner
Are my arms
Branching out to the world
Reaching out to hearts of men
Pardoning they ways and reconciling
Nations of one father.

Those daisies around the apple tree
are my ears
They listen to the harmony  of the world
Fine tuned to the whispers of my heart
Beautiful sounds flirting with the leaves of life.

The lily that grow in middle
Is my heart
It loves and it hurts
Its weak but never breaks
Chrish it, it will sing for you someday

You can pick from my garden
Remember that roots run deep
To the memories of my youth
To the shadows of my soul
Were the light does not  go
You can pick from my garden
Remember that the blood from
this wrists have watered the soil that this flowers grow from
Pain and grief spilled to nourish
the seeds that are buried within.
