So true, once you think about it for a bit.
Fallen idols,
another one
bites the dust,
watch them fall,
like a statue
from its pedestal
barely lasting long enough
to make an impact
on this
cold, lonely world
most won’t even live
to see
their children
growing up,
if they even
live long enough
to have kids,
drugs have brought
most of them
to their knees,
they won’t realize
what’s happening
as it’s happening,
Watch them fall,
