Darkness
Heart is breaking in silence
Afraid of what will be
Where are the arms
That use to comfort me
It’s a never ending story
One that’s left untold
Only truth will reveal it
And see the bitter cold
Inside I hear the screaming
Terrified of the sudden end
Wondering who will save me
From the monster who I am
My arms are the only I feel
Embraced in fear and pain
Wondering how I change things
And make them right again
Darkness overtakes me
Emptiness all around
And here, I still lay screaming
Waiting to be found
And in the vast so empty
For all that’s said and done
The scars tho they are hidden
Have only just begun
On the outside brightness
Is what I do convey
Inside lies my torture
That will get to me someday
