All the time it’s going round and round
Loud enough you can’t hear a sound
All the while you stand your ground

Why is it so important that we hear your words
Talking just to hear yourself, we care not what you say
Besides we know the difference between truth and play
Yet the gossip and discontent makes you look that way
Now granted this isn’t something all that new
People talk, and talk and listen even less
Some seek adulation and extreme success
Action speak louder than words with just a few
But hear me clearly when I say, I’m once step ahead all the way
I won’t be intimidated or bullied or concerned
It will come back to you in an insidious burn
Attention seeking, lies and untruth, Only shows your true colors and uncouth
Artificial, faux, and synthetic fool
Feed the fires and feed the mule
It’s coming soon and I won’t be the one
That proves you to be the one undone
It is self prophesied by your own negligence
And I have less and less time to care less
It is Karma that will set you straight
I’m afraid at this point it is your fate
It will come back to bite you in the ass
And when it does, I’ll sit back and laugh

The inspiration of this poem came from a job I used to have, during that time, where I worked with several girls who seemed to enjoy creating drama and tension.
