What happened

The life we were given isn’t bad
Some days may seem a little sad
But through and through
We know what to do
Spend our lives with loved ones
With your daughters and sons
Sister brother come one come all
That’s how it should be right
No one tells you there is no light
My life was taken by you
Now I don’t know what to do
Just sit and moan
While you sit on your thrown
While you snicker
And you and I bicker
See life is like a roller coaster
With so many twists and bends
But I was not ready for it to end
My life had purpose
It’s own ying and yang
But I didn’t go out with a band
I cracked and crumbled
Like a rock from a bluff
And all this time I thought I was tough
Death calls now I’m thinking to answer
My death will be quick
But I’ll let you pick
My life for yours or yours for I
I know I don’t wanna die
You took it from me my life
My goals my kids my wife
Rushing though my mind
Like a thread on a ball of twine
Burnt to a crisp
Now you have a lisp
A stutter for now you can’t talk
Or even take me for a walk
That’s right no one cares
I forgot about your lairs
Your tricks and schemes
While you watch me split from the seems
I remember those words you told me when I was about to go
You said well that’s the end of the show
And I drifted away with out a trace
As tears fell down her face
I was gone and my life was no longer tethered
I want you to know nothing lasts forever
