If I were to tell you how I feel you’d probably think I’m strange,
These dark thoughts that circle in my head might make me looked deranged.
But really all I want to say is that I think about you every day,
I have so many things I want to say, it’s hard to find a place to start
and when it ends I’ll never know but judging by my beating heart
I think I know where to start.
When we first met I cannot say that you 'took my breath away’
because the truth is that you annoyed me at first,
but that’s how the attraction grows
I must admit you put up a fight and kept me up talking late every night!
The days turned into weeks and then we became something more than friends.
Weeks turned into months and then I really saw the true side of you,
You were funny, you were smart but you never won my heart
because inside I knew I could do better than you.
I did not need the hassle and I know that now for sure
You treated me unfairly without just cause or reason.
I now know why I think of you, it’s because I had to let you know
how I feel. Now that my worries are off my chest I’ll leave you to
write the rest.
